On October 3rd, the Social Justice Fund for Ventura County held a brainstorming meeting with 7 community organizations from Ventura county to discuss their needs and potential themes for SJFVC grantmaking in 2017-2018. Attending were: Future leaders of America, Planned Parenthood, the McCune Foundation, Women of Substance & Men of Honor, PathPoint, One Step a la Vez and MICOP as well as several SJFVC board members. We talked about many issues concerning low income and marginalized communities in Ventura County. Thanks to all who attended.
