SJFVC 2020 New Board Members

Dr. Kim Marra Stephenson

Kim’s family has lived in Ventura County since 1975. She is a graduate of local public schools, UCLA, and Stanford University, where she earned a PhD in Educational Psychology. She has taught at every level from preschool through graduate school in communities such as Oakland, Palo Alto, Thousand Oaks, and Oxnard and has served as a middle and high school administrator for over 10 years in the Conejo Valley Unified and Oxnard Union High School Districts.

Kim fights for social justice as a community organizer, a teacher's union site rep, and as an active member of several local organizations. She is a founding member and current president of the VC Women's Forum Collaborative, a board member of the Somis-Pleasant Valley Lions, as well as an active member of AAUW-Camarillo Branch, League of Women Voters VC, LULAC de Camarillo, Camarillo Noontime Optimists, and VC Women's Political Council. She has been awarded the "Women's Community Leadership Award" from CSUCI Multicultural Programs and "Woman of the Year" from State Senator Hannah Beth Jackson.

Most of all, Kim is proud of the life she has built with her husband, Dave, and their two daughters, Grace and Lena, both social justice warriors themselves.

John Graham

John's LinkedIn says:

"It is said that one of the hardest questions to answer in life is "Who are you?" Through self-discovery, failure, and success I know myself to be a creative communicator, a connector of cultures and a leader by inspiration. I believe in the power of human connection and I take pride in being the bridge between aspirations and opportunities for others.

As a keynote speaker, coach and executive consultant I engage global audiences on topics ranging from Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging, to the future of work, the power of personal branding, and employer brand activation through culture marketing strategies.

John reside in Thousand Oaks with my lovely wife Sana and two beautiful children, John III and Marian.
