$7,000 to The Abundant Table (AT) for the "Rooted Futures: Growing Change"  project. To re-engage the decision makers of the new Santa Paula Unified School District (SPUSD), in collaboration with students at Santa Paula High School, to ensure that previous agreements for healthy food in the schools as proposed by the parents and students are not lost.

$7,000 to The Central Coast Alliance United for a Sustainable Economy (CAUSE) for the Ventura Avenue United Leadership Team (VAULT) project. To create the City of Ventura’s first community driven Affordable Housing Alliance by building a coalition with other like-minded partner organizations and by educating, empowering and mobilizing more residents.

$8,000 to Cabrillo Economic Development Corporation (CEDC) for the "One Tribe Anti-bullying" project. To build bridges between schools and the Spanish-speaking, low income, immigrant youth and parents in 3 of CEDC’s housing communities to ensure that their voices are included as anti-bullying policies and programs are developed by the schools as mandated by California legislation.

$9,000 to the Mixteco/Indigena Community Organizing Project (MICOP) for the Tequio Youth Group "Fields to College" campaign. To reduce the internal (perception among parents about school) and external barriers (cuts in federally funded Migrant Education program) that block children of farm workers from graduating high school or attending college.

$9,000 to One Step A La Vez (OSAV) for "The Next Step" program. To continue the work previously started 1) to assess health effects and clean-up of the Chevron Toxic Waste Site; 2) to advocate for improved transportation for residents of the Santa Clara Valley; and 3) to reduce the number of incarcerated youth and develop improved relationships within the community and the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department
